Congratulations to our Community Kickstart Grant recipient – Hope for Our Children
We’re absolutely thrilled to share some truly exciting news! We’re pleased to announce that Hope for Our Children has been chosen as the well-deserved recipient of the 2025 ISPT Community Kickstart Grant! They’ll be receiving a $10,000 grant to help them continue their incredibly important, community-enriching work.
Hope For Our Children is an organisation passionately dedicated to empowering and uplifting vulnerable children and young people in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Since 2013, they have been a vital link, connecting community resources with the real-life needs of those facing adversity. Their “Bags of Hope” program, which distributed 400 bags in 2024, provides thoughtfully curated essentials to children entering foster care, fleeing domestic violence, or seeking refuge, offering them comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging during traumatic transitions.
The Community Kickstart Grant means they can significantly expand this critical program, reaching more children with immediate relief and fostering long-term emotional well-being, while also creating enriching volunteering opportunities that strengthen our entire community. This grant is an investment in a brighter, more hopeful future for our region’s most vulnerable.
